There are many reasons for Ruling Elders to attend the St. Louis General Assembly. One of them is Overture 24. This overture would reduce the registration fee for Ruling Elders from $450 to $250, making it much more affordable.
But it won’t pass if commissioners don’t vote for it. And a commissioner can’t vote for it if he’s not in St. Louis at the General Assembly.
